The Olympia Premier League began in the summer of 2023 when a small group of cricket enthusiasts in Olympia, Washington organized the community's first Hard Tennis Ball T20 tournament. Eight teams showed up that first weekend, and the energy was electric.
Today, players travel in from across Thurston County and the wider South Puget Sound region to compete, making OPL the area's home for community cricket, pickleball, basketball, badminton, and volleyball.
As an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity (EIN: 61-2326701), every dollar raised goes directly back into the community — better fields, quality equipment, youth scholarships, and free coaching clinics. Donations are tax-deductible. No shareholders, no profit motive — just pure love of the game.
