Winning a Match

Rally scoring: a point goes to whoever wins each rally, whichever side served.
Legal Serve
Serve must be hit underhand, with contact made below the waist and the paddle head below the wrist at contact.
Served diagonally cross-court into the opponent's service court.
Serve Attempts
One serve attempt per side — there is no second serve.
Let Serves
A serve that touches the net and lands in the correct service court is live — play continues.
Foot Faults
The server may not step on or over the baseline or the imaginary center-line extension before making contact.
Singles: with an even score the server serves from the right-hand court, underhand and diagonally cross-court into the opposite service court.
Double-Bounce Rule
After the serve, the receiving side must let the ball bounce once before returning it.
The serving side must then also let the return bounce once before volleying. After that, either side may volley.
The receiving side must let the serve bounce before hitting it.
Non-Volley Zone
The zone extends 7 feet from the net on both sides.
No player may volley a ball while any part of their body, clothing, or paddle touches the non-volley zone or its line — including momentum carrying a player in immediately after the volley.
Players may enter the zone freely to play a ball that has bounced.
Volleying with both feet behind the kitchen line is fine.
Ball lands outside the court boundary lines.
Ball is volleyed while the player is in contact with the non-volley zone.
A player, clothing, or paddle touches the net or net post while the ball is in play.
Ball bounces twice on one side before being returned.
Serving out of turn or from the incorrect service court.
Any fault results in loss of the rally — the point goes to the opposing side.
Time-Outs
1 × 60-second time-out per team, per game.
Punctuality & Forfeits
Drag the clock to see what happens when a team or player is late.
Line Calls
Each side is responsible for calling lines on its own side of the net. A ball touching any part of the line is in.
Disputes
Without an assigned referee, disputed calls are replayed at the mutual agreement of both sides, or at the on-site organizer's discretion.
Director Authority
Tournament Directors may alter or clarify rules.
